Greenville, SC - The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) is pleased to announce Jesse Campbell as Director of Communications. Campbell will start in this role on January 2, 2024.
 
NCCAA Executive Director Dan Wood said, “We are excited to welcome Jesse to our staff and feel blessed to have another mission-fit young leader join the team. From an impromptu breakfast together, all the way to the in-person interview with staff, Jesse just kept confirming that God had clearly directed our collected steps to this outcome.”
 
Campbell has served at Cornerstone University since 2014 as the Assistant Director for Communications and Marketing. He’s been named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference SID of the Year and has helped grow Cornerstone’s athletic brand across 20 sports on social media and the web.
 
"Seeing how the Lord as intervened in the process of this job transition has been truly incredible,” said Campbell. “I learned how to walk on an NCCAA basketball court at Grace Christian University, which looking back was God's first step in sparking my decision to pursue a career path in Christian athletics. Seeing that desire come full circle now is truly a work of God. I am grateful to the NCCAA for the opportunity to work alongside such a great community, and I am looking forward to how God will continue to use this organization's efforts to impact the lives of college athletes spiritually, academically, and athletically."
 
The NCCAA recently announced staffing changes, including Ben Belleman, Director of Membership & Compliance, retiring at the end of the 2023-24 academic year and moving into a part-time role overseeing eligibility. In January of 2024, Brandon Gilmore, current Director of Communications, will begin shifting to the Director of Membership role, which he will assume full management of on July 1, 2024.
