The Pursuit - Volume 37 Issue 2

If ever a verse rang true and was needed, it sure appears these days are a perfect match. No matter how well trained or experienced one is, they can never see and know the circumstances as well as the Lord. As the Alpha and the Omega, He alone knows and can be trusted. With His omnipotence and the Holy Spirit's presence, oh how blessed are those who call Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior.

This Pro-Am issue of The Pursuit most certainly offers a glimpse at a diverse cross-section of the NCCAA community. Their shared trait is their trust in the Lord and their confidence that He is with them whether their journey takes them around the world or across the street. You will read about Kyle Bloom who has seen the NCCAA as a student-athlete, Board member, donor, coach, and as a PGA Professional at the Pro-Am. Enjoy hearing about the Columbia International University Women's Softball team who took a step of faith and served in Guatemala this past summer. Such trips are mixed with individual and group trusts and God always blesses the servers as much or more than those served.

For our donors and supporters, enjoy hearing from your peers and members of a rapidly growing NCCAA support system. These testimonies of "why" they give and support this ministry will encourage every reader. Finally, sit back and enjoy a fast-track journey of NCCAA Pro-am founder, John Wheeler, and see how trust was the singular most important quality from the outset of this event that celebrates its 39th Anniversary this March.
