NCCAA Students Selected for 2023 Red Cross Collegiate Leadership Program 3/2/2023 1:11:38 PM Greenville, SC: The American Red Cross has announced 15 students who have been selected to participate in its Collegiate Leadership Program, including three from NCCAA member institutions. Congratulations to Neeley Green (Alice Lloyd College), Gabe Maurer (Campbellsville University), and Caitlin Wahe (Baptist Bible College). This program is a collaboration between the American Red Cross, NCCAA, and the NAIA to inspire a new and diverse generation of Red Cross volunteer leadership. These student-leaders are offered a rare and unique opportunity to acquire first-hand coaching, mentoring, and professional leadership training presented by our senior leaders. This year’s leadership training will take place in June in Washington, D.C. The program allows student-leaders to give back to their school and their campus communities by becoming a Red Cross ambassador through recruiting blood donors on their college campuses. In addition, they will be given the tools to start a Red Cross Club on campus if there is not one already.
