Campbellsville Captures Men's Track & Field National Championship

Columbia, SC: Campbellsville University won their first-ever NCCAA Men's Track & Field National Championship, earning 182 points to finish 35 points ahead of second place Grace College who finished with 147 points. Greenville University rounded out the top three with 112 points.
 
Of the 22 events, Campbellsville took first place in two, including the long jump, and triple jump. The Tigers also finished second in the 200m, 110m hurdles, 10000m, 4x100m relay, 4x400 relay, 3000m steeplechase, high jump, and triple jump.
 
Dario Laing of Columbia International University was named Men's Field Athlete of the Meet, Deandre Leith of Columbia Inernational University was named Men's Track Athlete of the Meet, and Campbellsville University earned Coaching Staff of the Year honors. Brian Sims of Bob Jones University broke the meet record in the Men's 400m with a time of 46.96.
