Kissimmee, FL – For the first time since 2009 Judson University returned to the top, winning the 2024 NCCAA DI Men's Soccer National Championship in Kissimmee, Florida. Judson would take down Carolina University 1-0 behind a goal from Gabriel Trevisan in the 24th minute to earn their seventh national championship in program history. The Eagles took a unique path to the title match, not recording a single victory in regulation until Saturday's championship.

#3 Carolina University 0, #4 Judson University 1
  • 10 minutes into the first half a crucial foul call would be called inches outside the 18-yard box on Carolina University giving Judson University the first true chance of the match. Judson's Gabriel Trevisan would strike a low line drive on net that required a great diving save from the Bruins keeper Joshua Wilson.
  • Minutes later, Carolina would see a free kick chance from just inside the corner flag. Karell Buitendijk put it on net, but it would be punched over the bar by Judson keeper Ivan Dominguez.
  • Carolina would see a beautiful chance in the 21st minute off a cross into the box, but Carlos Ramirez saw his feet get tangled and he missed just wide.
  • Judson responded in the 24th minute. Gabriel Uno was able to find Gabriel Trevisan who then flicked a ball over the Bruin defense and finished off the inside of the post to record the first goal of the game. Trevisan earned his second goal of the tournament scoring in both the semifinal and championship match.
  • The Eagles would hold the 1-0 advantage at the half outshooting the Bruins 6-4 in the period.
  • Carolina put pressure on Judson early in the second half resulting in a great chance for attacker Luke Spillane-Davis. Spillane-Davis would try to flick the ball into the corner but just missed wide as the score stayed 1-0 in favor of Judson.
  • Carolina goalkeeper Joshua Wilson would make another great save to prevent an insurance goal from being scored as Judson's Gabriel Uno would get behind the Carolina defense and have a shot from inside the 18-yard box.
  • Heavy legs started to settle in for both sides in the final half hour as players from both sides had to come off due to cramping.
  • Judson was able to get back to how they started the game and possess the ball beautifully in the final 15 minutes to secure the 1-0 victory and win their first NCCAA Division I Men's Soccer National Championship since 2009.
