Bethel University Wins Fourth NCCAA Women’s Golf National Championship in the Last Five Years

Palm Coast, FL – Bethel University was dominant the last two days of the 2025 NCCAA Women’s Golf National Championship, stretching their 15-stroke tournament lead to 26 in Wednesday’s final round to capture their fourth title in the last five years. 

Three of the Bethel top five finished within the top eight individually to earn NCCAA All-American honors: Selah Unwin (232, 3rd), Izzy Aigner (234, T-4th), Ellie Webster (236, 7th). The Pilots overcame a 325 in round one, shooting a 306 in round two, and a 311 in round three. Wayland Baptist University finished second overall with a 968, and last year’s champion Grace College finished third with a score of 972.
 
Isabelle Victoria Soh from Wayland Baptist earned the national championship individual medalist honors with a 227 (+11), recording a pair of birdies on the back nine to pass Morgan Eckman of University of Northwestern. Eckman finished second individually with a score of 228 (+12).
 
Highlights:
  • Liz Miller of Cedarville University recorded the best tournament among individual qualifiers entering the event, earning NCCAA All-American honors with a T-4th place finish and a score of 234 (+18). 
  • Tristan Wilson of Ohio Christian University, another individual qualifier also snuck into the top eight to earn NCCAA All-American honors shooting a 237 (+21).
  • Ellen Lonergan of Wayland Baptist ended her third round in style, chipping in for birdie on hole 18. 
  • Three of the six teams in competition saw their third round serve as their best round at the Hammock Beach Conservatory Course. 
  • Bethel has now won the NCCAA National Title four times in program history, all four of which have come since 2021.
