2025 DII Women's Basketball All-Americans Released

Greenville, SC – The 2025 NCCAA DII Women’s Basketball All-Americans have been announced. Morgan Defoor, a guard from Simmons College of Kentucky (SCKY) was named the 2025 National Player of the Year. Jared Sellars of Pensacola Christian College was named the 2025 Coach of the Year. After helping the Falcons win their first DII Women’s Basketball National Championship in program history last season, Defoor has continued to roll in her junior season, leading the NCCAA with 22.7 points per game while shooting a blistering 39.9 percent from the field. The Georgetown, Kentucky native has also dished out 85 assists and has recorded 47 steals. Defoor’s biggest performance of the year came in the 2025 Mideast Regional Championship game on March 1, scoring 34 points and draining nine three-pointers, while hauling down eight boards and handing out six assists to punch Simmons’ ticket to the DII Women’s Basketball National Championship.
