Palm Coast, FL – Bethel University overcame a four-stroke deficit in the final round of the 2026 NCCAA Women’s Golf National Championship to earn their fifth title in program history after carding a 322 (+34) third round. The Pilots have now won five of the last six National Championship’s, winning the 2026 event by five strokes with a 54-hole score of 953 (+89).

Ellie Webster was the top finisher for the Pilots on the tournament, earning All-American with a 235 (+19). Megan Bishop joined her teammate in the All-American honors, earning the eighth and final spot with a 240 (+24). Camille Short of Grace College had an outstanding final round to move up two spots and secure individual medalist honors. Short birdied the second hole and tallied a round three score of 76 (+4) to finish the tournament with a 229 (+13). Short earns her first NCCAA Women’s Golf National Championship Medalist honor and All-American performance with the victory.

Highlights:
  • A slow first nine from Wayland Baptist allowed Bethel to flip the script and take over the team lead roughly halfway through the final round of play. Megan Bishop led the Pilots through the first nine holes, recording a 40 (+4).
  • OUAZ also made-up significant ground through the first nine holes of day three to join the team lead conversation. The Spirit cut a 15-stroke deficit down to five halfway through play.
  • Bethel would show their championship caliber down the stretch, starting to pull away from the competition on the last nine holes. Shortly after Abby Dymott birdied hole four, Bethel would hold an eight-stroke lead for their largest of the tournament.
  • As a team, Bethel recorded six birdies in the third round to continue to separate themselves. Ellie Webster and Abby Dymott had two, while Megan Bishop and Karisa Dyer each had one.
  • Isabelle Victoria Soh of Wayland Baptist University earned NCCAA Women’s Golf National Championship runner-up and All-American honors after posting a 230 (+14).
  • Morgan Philyaw of the University of Northwestern earned All-American honors yet again, recording the top individual qualifier finish at third overall. She carded a 79 (+7) in the third round to finish the tournament with a 231 (+15).
  • OUAZ finished with the best team score in the third round, recording a 316 (+28). The effort allowed them to earn a tie for second with Wayland Baptist, winning the tiebreaker with a better final round.
  • Grace, Campbellsville, and Toccoa Falls finished fourth through sixth respectively in the tournament, all seeing round two as their most successful of the championship.
