THE HISTORY
The NCCAA has held a Baseball World Series since 1988, with King College winning the inaugural crown. Mount Vernon Nazarene University has won the most World Series championships in NCCAA history with five, while the current NCCAA member schools with the most World Series crowns is Dallas Baptist University (2003, 2004) and Bethel University (1990, 2002). Seven different schools have won the NCCAA Baseball World Series since 2017, with Oklahoma Baptist University being the last school to repeat as champions, doing so in 2016 and 2017.

LAST YEAR
The 2025 NCCAA Baseball World Series needed an extra day to determine a winner, with Jessup University winning the crown over Mission University. The Warriors and Patriots both met earlier in the week, with Mission coming out on top 6-0 after the Patriots struck out five Jessup batters to pick up the win. Jessup defeated Concordia University Ann Arbor and University of Fort Lauderdale in the losers bracket, and after Mission took a loss to UFTL, a winner-take-all game was needed between the two sides to decide a champion.

Jessup held a tight 5-2 lead going into the eighth inning, before a pair of RBI doubles and two timely base hits pushed the Warriors ahead 10-2, leading to the eventual 11-5 national championship victory. Hailama Swartman of Jessup was named the Tournament's Most Outstanding Player.
