Championship action begins on Monday May 18, utilizing a double-elimination format. Games continue on Tuesday, May 19, with the championship game and "if needed" game on Wednesday, May 20. THE HISTORY The NCCAA has held a Softball World Series since 1995, with Bethel University winning the first championship title. Olivet Nazarene leads all time with the most NCCAA Softball World Series championships with five. Of current NCCAA schools, Bethel holds the most titles with two, their last coming in 2007. The last current NCCAA member school to win the Softball World Series was Nelson University (then known as Southwestern Assemblies of God University) in 2022. Concordia University Ann Arbor was the last school to repeat as Softball World Series champions, doing so in 2023 and 2024. LAST YEAR Jessup University went a perfect 5-0 on the way to the 2025 NCCAA Softball World Series national championship. The Warriors allowed just one run on the opening day of play, before walking off Sterling College on day two to move into the driver's seat of the winner's bracket. After knocking off University of Fort Lauderdale on day three, Jessup held off a late rally from Mid-America Christian University 3-2 to claim the national championship. Sarah Giles of Jessup University was the Tournament's Most Outstanding Player.
