Pensacola Christian College to Host NCCAA Division II Men’s & Women’s Basketball National Championships Through 2029 6/12/2026 12:00:00 AM Greenville, SC – The National Christian College Athletic Association is excited to announce a new agreement with Pensacola Christian College to host the NCCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Basketball National Championships for the next three years. Each championship will be held on the campus of Pensacola Christian College with all championship games held in the Arlin R. Horton Sports Center and all consolation games held in the Field House. “Pensacola Christian College will be an outstanding host for the NCCAA Division II Men’s & Women’s Basketball National Championships,” stated NCCAA Executive Director Dan Wood. “From the facilities, the community, and the excellent leadership of Athletic Director, Mark Goetsch, our members will receive a great experience while also serving the greater Pensacola community.” The Arlin R. Horton Sports Center is one of the top athletic complexes in the NCCAA since it’s construction in 1993. Inside the arena itself, there are video projection screens on both sides of the playing court with multiple scoreboards designed to ensure viewing ease. The gymnasium boasts stadium seating along with an extensive lobby area that holds four locker rooms, coaches’ offices, a weight room, training room, and plenty of space for students and fans. The Pensacola Christian Field House is the former home of the Eagles’ basketball and volleyball programs and holds a full-size court with bleacher seating. The NCCAA will see 10 men’s and 10 women’s teams compete at the Division II Basketball National Championships over the next three years. The schedule will rotate time slots each year between the men’s and women’s tournaments. In 2027, opening round games will be played on Wednesday, March 10 with the women starting at 2:45 p.m. CT and the men beginning at 6:15 p.m. CT. On Thursday, March 11 all quarterfinal action will be played, with the women starting at 9 a.m. CT and the men to follow at 4 p.m. CT. Semifinals will take place on Friday, March 12 with Saturday, March 13 designated for the Division II Men’s and Women’s National Championship games. Consolation play will take place on Thursday and Friday in the Field House with each team having a two-game guarantee.
