Campbellsville University Captures 2022 Women's Tennis National Championship

Mobile, AL:  Campbellsville University won its first-ever NCCAA Women’s Tennis National Championship after defeating No. 3 Oakland City University 4-0. The No. 1 seeded Tigers took the doubles point after Oriana Espinoza and Angela Mendoza won their No. 1 match 6-0, while Ariadna Perez and Madison Hill won their No. 3 match 6-0. In singles play, Angela Mendoza (No. 2) won 6-0, 6-0, Ariadna Perez (No. 3) won 6-2, 6-1, and Emma Calfee (No. 6) won 6-1, 6-2.
 
Campbellsville opened round robin action with a 4-0 win over No. 2 Asbury University. The Tigers then defeated Oakland City 4-0 to finish 2-0 in round robin play and advance to the championship match.
