Toccoa Falls College and Pensacola Christian College Roll to NCCAA DII Men's Soccer Championship Match

Kissimmee, FL – Top-seed Toccoa Falls College and #3 Pensacola Christian College qualified for the championship match at the 2025 NCCAA DII Men’s Soccer National Championship, officially clinching their Pools on Thursday, November 20.
 
Pool A - #1 Toccoa Falls College 2, #4 Boyce College 1
 
Having officially clinched Pool A on Tuesday, #1 Toccoa Falls College finished their time in pool play with a 2-1 winvs #4 Boyce College to round out Pool Play.
  • Nick Nunez had the first clear opportunity for either team, but his shot in the 15th minute went just high, and the score stayed tied 0-0.
  • Joel Isaac looked to add a goal for Boyce in the 34th minute, but Clark Allen made a pair of saves and kept the Bulldogs off the scoreboard.
  • Toccoa Falls had a pair of chances at the end of the first half, but the Eagles were just offside and the two teams went into the break scoreless.
  • Patricio Bennevendo scored his fourth goal of the week, having scored in all three games this week for Toccoa Falls, in the 62nd minute, as his teammate Hector Tenorio stole a pass from the Boyce defense and found Bennevendo in the box, who finished the play to put the Screaming Eagles ahead 1-0.
  • Ben Sowers added his 26th goal of the season in the 68th minute, swerving around the box before finding enough space and tying the game 1-1.
  • Tenorio scored a goal of his own just four minutes later, as Nunez found his teammate on the corner of the box, and Tenorio connected to put Toccoa Falls back on top 2-1.
  • Allen stepped up again for Toccoa Falls in the 78th minute, making a crucial save after a shot from Kayden Kalenga to keep the Screaming Eagles ahead. 
  • Sowers almost added a second goal of the day in the 85th minute, but the shot went wide and Toccoa Falls completed Pool Play a perfect 3-0-0 with the 2-1 win.
 
Pool A - #8 Southwestern Adventist University 4, #5 Central Christian College of the Bible 0
 
Israel Pina continued to add to his goal tally, adding a pair of goals as #8 Southwestern Adventist University knocked off #5 Central Christian College of the Bible 4-0.
  • It was a defensive battle early, with Paulo Filho having a shot for Central Christian College of the Bible going off the top of the crossbar in the 18th minute to keep the contest scoreless.
  • For the third time this week, Israel Pina found the back of the net for Southwestern Adventist, taking it himself from midfield and weaving around the Saints backline in the 21st minute that gave the Knights a 1-0 advantage.
  • Pina added another goal just over two minutes later, as his teammate Lennin Malvaiz tallied an assist, and the SWAU lead pushed ahead to 2-0.
  • Pina continued his magical week by adding an assist in the 25th minute, finding Armando Lara who rifled a shot past the CCCB keeper, and the Knights continued to roll, going up 3-0.
  • The offensive onslaught continued for the Knights, as Morton Miles got in on the scoring action in the 54th minute after an assist from John Hindman III found him in the box, pushing Southwestern Adventist to the 4-0 win.
 
Pool B - #7 Faith Baptist Bible College 4, #6 Grace Christian University 1
 
Parker Lundberg scored two goals, as #7 Faith Baptist Bible College closed out their time in Kissimmee with a 3-1 win over #6 Grace Christian University. 
  • The Eagles opened the scoring early, Zachary Choi found Parker Lundberg in the 10th minute, and Faith Baptist Bible plowed ahead 1-0.
  • Grace Christian answered a few minutes later, as Cade Petroelje shined with an unbelievable bending strike, and the Tigers found the back of the net in the 15th minute to tie the contest 1-1.
  • GCU tried to take the lead in the 37th minute, but a strong save from Zeke Denger kept the match tied at one goal apiece at halftime.
  • Faith Baptist Bible wasted little time taking the lead in the second half, as 35 seconds into the final frame, Cody Clark found Parker Lundberg, who ricocheted a shot off the crossbar and in to give the Eagles a 2-1 advantage.
  • Austin Lundberg added a third goal in the 55th minute, somehow aiming a shot while falling down to the top right corner of the net, and the Eagles pushed the advantage to 3-1.
  • FBBC continued to pull away in the 79th minute, as Gavin Brahs found Noah Blomquist to put the Eagles up 4-1 late, and the contest ended with Faith Baptist Bible earning their first win of the week over Grace Christian.
 
Pool B - #3 Pensacola Christian College 8, #2 Alice Lloyd College 2
 
Six different players scored a goal and Jackson Clarke recorded a hat trick for #3 Pensacola Christian College, as the Eagles rolled to the National Championship match with a 6-1 victory over #2 Alice Lloyd College.
  • Pensacola Christian College took the lead early, as Justin Loveland found Jackson Clarke on the corner of the box in the eighth minute, who took advantage with a high-powered shot to give PCC the 1-0 advantage.
  • In the 14th minute, Pensacola Christian earned a corner kick, and Boaz DaSilva headed the ball to the foot of Reid Rhodes, who snuck the ball into the goal and the Eagles from Florida swelled the lead to 2-0.
  • For the third time this week, PCC earned a penalty kick chance, and in the 15th minute, Samir Vieira Siqueira connected on his third make from the spot, and Pensacola Christian soared to a 3-0 advantage.
  • Pensacola Christian continued to add on, as some nifty ball movement in the 32nd minute from Odanci Ndayisaba found Clarke open in the box, and Clarke scored his second goal of the game to put PCC ahead 4-0.
  • Alice Lloyd finally found the back of the net in the 33rd minute, as a foul in the box sent Luis Sarabia to the penalty spot, who connected for the goal and ALC cut the deficit to 4-1. 
  • Pensacola Christian answered quickly, continuing the onslaught as Devin Woods scored his first career goal in the 39th minute, pushing the Eagles on top 5-1 at the halftime break.
  • Clarke opened the second half by completing the hat trick in the 58th minute, as Vieira Siqueira poked the ball off the Alice Lloyd keeper, and Clarke cleaned it up and sent it home, swelling the Pensacola Christian lead to 6-1.
  • Ndayisaba added a goal of his own in the 74th minute, as Angel Pietri-Garcia found him outside the box and Ndayisaba nailed it from deep, and Pensacola Christian continued to roll, going ahead 7-1
  • Entering the game in the final 15 minutes of play, Colin Elms added his first career goal, collecting a bouncing ball in the box, and Pensacola Christian pulled ahead 8-1. 
  • Alice Lloyd added a second goal after a penalty kick make from Jensen Harbaugh in the 78th minute, but it wasn’t enough, and Pensacola Christian rolled to the 8-2 win.
 
The 2025 NCCAA DII Men’s Soccer National Championship match between Toccoa Falls College and Pensacola Christian College is set for 6:00 PM eastern on Saturday, November 22 at the stadium at the Austin-Tindall Soccer Complex.
