Pensacola Christian College Wins Fourth NCCAA DII Men's Soccer National Championship in School History 11/22/2025 8:02:45 PM Kissimmee, FL – Four the fourth time in school history and the second time in three seasons, Pensacola Christian College (PCC) finishes the year as DII Men’s Soccer National Champions, winning the 2025 NCCAA DII Men’s Soccer National Championship match 3-0 over top-seeded Toccoa Falls College 3-0 on Saturday, November 22. HIGHLIGHTS Jackson Clarke almost put Pensacola Christian ahead 1-0 in the fifth minute, but he was just offsides, and the goal did not count, keeping the two Eagles tied 0-0. Patricio Bennevendo looked to add to his four goal tally on the week, but Nathaniel Hixson made an incredible fingertip save in the 18th minute to keep the match scoreless. Edwin Gonzales saw a chance for Toccoa Falls in the 30th minute off a nifty pass from Hector Tenorio, but the shot sailed high and the game remained knotted 0-0. After subbing into the match just one minute into the contest due to an injury, Chris Martinez came off the bench and after a pass from Eric Romero went off the foot of Odanci Ndayisaba, and Martinez nailed the shot opportunity, putting Pensacola Christian up 1-0 at halftime. Pensacola Christian College didn’t waste long adding to their tally, as Ndayisaba needed less than three minutes into the second half to corral the ball of a deflection inside the box, and fired it past the TFC defense to put the convocation from Pensacola Christian ahead 2-0. Evan Papadakos tried to cut the Toccoa Falls deficit in half in the 57th minute, but Hixson once again made an acrobatic stop to keep PCC ahead and their rivals from Georgia off the board. PCC added another in the 71st minute, as a long distance pass from Jackson Clarke found Justin Loveland in the top of the box, and the sophomore made a nice move in the box to get open, poking the ball over the keeper’s head and swelling the Eagles lead to 3-0. Bennevendo got a shot in the 82nd minute to try to put Toccoa Falls on the board, but another Hixson save, his seventh of the match, preserved the shutout, and Pensacola Christian College clinched the 3-0 win and the National Championship Samir Viera Siqueria of Pensacola Christian was named the Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player, while Israel Pina from Southwestern Adventist University earned the Select Golden Ball Award, tallying 9 points (four goals, one assist) in three games.
