PC: Anastasia Noonkesser Campbellsville University Wins First NCCAA Division I Men’s Soccer National Championship Since 2021 12/6/2025 9:43:40 PM Kissimmee, FL – Campbellsville University and Grace College met for the fifth time in the NCCAA Division I Men’s Soccer National Championship over the last decade, but for the first time in the title match on Saturday night in Kissimmee, Florida at the Austin-Tindall Sports Complex. Campbellsville would edge out Grace with the 2-0 victory behind Ollie Jagroop’s game winning 21st minute goal to win their first National Championship since 2021. Championship: #1 Campbellsville University 2, #2 Grace College 0 In a match that started with rain falling, Campbellsville would get the early edge. The Tigers would record two shots in the first 10 minutes, the second of which would force a diving save from Lancers Ben Kenn. The Campbellsville attack would continue, as the Tigers would find the net in the 21st minute. Ollie Jagroop would get a touch on a bouncing ball in from Izan Garcia Gancedo to score the opening goal and give Campbellsville the 1-0 lead. In the 32nd minute Mihlali Blesi nearly found a second and his sixth goal of the tournament, spinning past the Grace keeper but missing just wide into the side netting. As the rain continued to pour down throughout the first half, Campbellsville would hold the 1-0 lead into halftime. The second half began with a quick yellow on Grace’s Diogo Gomes. Gomes was immediately subbed out for Mateus Pereira. Grace would begin to push numbers forward and find a few shots. Juan Garcia would take a deep shot from outside the 18-yard box in the 58th minute for the Lancers best chance early in the second half. In the final half hour, the Lancers would hold nearly all the possession. Campbellsville and keeper Malthe Schou, as they have done all year, would not break on the backline. In the 88th minute the Tigers would get a counterattack insurance goal from Mark Horn to hold on and secured the 2-0 victory for their first National Championship since the 2021 campaign. Campbellsville keeper Malthe Schou was named the Tournament Most Outstanding Player, while Mihlali Blesi earned the SELECT Golden Ball Award.
