Grapevine, TX – In their first year as an NCCAA member, Jessup University ran the table, going a perfect 5-0 at the 2025 NCCAA Softball World Series to earn their first-ever NCCAA Softball National Championship in program history.

Game Twelve: #3 Mid-America Christian University 1, #2 Sterling College 0
Meeting for the fourth time in nine days, #3 Mid-America Christian University avenged their loss from earlier in the tournament, eliminating #2 Sterling College 1-0 and punching their ticket to the national championship series.
- The familiarity between the two squads helped the defenses of the two Central Region rivals, as the first three innings were scoreless. MACU had their best chance to score in the top of the fourth, as Isabel Ray singled and reached second on a wild pitch, but a nice grab at first by Mallory Seidel kept the contest scoreless.
- The great defense continued, with both teams recording just one more hit through the middle innings, and the teams steal scoreless heading to the top of the seventh.
- MACU was the first team to draw blood in the top of the seventh, as Heidi Noisey made some noise for the Evangels, as an RBI single scored Gia Reynosa to give Mid-America Christian a 1-0 lead.
- Sterling picked up a single in the top of the seventh, but a pair of flyouts ended the game, and Mid-America Christian advanced with a 1-0 win.
- Chana Wolfe picked up the shutout in the circle, allowing just three hits and recording six strikeouts in the win.
Game Thirteen: #1 Jessup University 10, #4 University of Fort Lauderdale 6
Top seed Jessup University punched their ticket to the national championship series, knocking off #4 University of Fort Lauderdale 10-6.
- After loading the bases in the bottom of the first inning, Jessup took the lead, thanks to a sac fly from Reagan Hoblit, scoring Maddy Ybarra to put the Warriors up 1-0.
- Alyssa Dragovich and Katie Adkins picked up hits for UFTL in the top of the second, and despite a double play turned by Hannah Dominguez, Dragovich scored on the RBI groundout from Cameron Rollison to tie the contest 1-1.
- Ybarra came up big for the Warriors again in the bottom of the second, as her RBI single scored Hannah Dominguez to put Jessup ahead 2-1. Rebekah Beasley brought Ybarra home on an RBI single of her own later in the frame, and Jessup surged to a 3-1 lead.
- Fort Lauderdale cut into the lead in the top of the third inning, as an infield single from Hannah Hogan brought home Cheyenne Southers to make it just 3-2 in favor of Jessup.
- The Warriors added a trio of runs in the bottom of the fourth, as Ybarra recorded yet another RBI, just missing a home run with a hit off the left field wall to bring home Hannah Aguilar. Rebekah Beasley doubled later in the inning to bring in Olivia Dominguez, and Jessup went up 5-2. With the bases loaded, Giles tripped on the basepaths. In the confusion, Ybarra was able to steal home, adding another run for the Warriors, swelling the lead to 6-2.
- Neomi Thomas got Fort Lauderdale back in the game in the top of the fifth, as her pinch hit, two RBI single scored Southers and Kaylee Wilt, cutting the lead down to 6-4. On the very next pitch, Alexia Geary went yard for the Eagles, and her two-run shot to right field tied the contest 6-6.
- Jessup added four runs of their own in the bottom of the fifth inning, as an RBI single and some nifty baserunning from Hannah Dominguez off an error gave the Warriors the 7-6 lead. Ybarra broke the game open in the frame, as her three-run shot swelled the Jessup lead to 10-6.
- The Warrior defense locked in to close out the game, and a great play on a tough grounder by Beasley clinched the win for Jessup.
- Ybarra was a force for Jessup, going 4-for-4 with 5 RBI, four runs scored, a home run, and a stolen base. Olivia Dominguez went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Game Fourteen: #1 Jessup University 3, #3 Mid-America Christian University 2
Jessup University claimed their first NCCAA Softball National Championship in program history, defeating #3 Mid-America Christian University 3-2 on Wednesday, May 21.
- Mid-America Christian loaded the bases in the top of the second inning thanks to singles from Kayten Herman and Stormy Haynes, but a pop up to Rebekah Beasley ended the threat and kept the game scoreless.
- MACU looked to get on the board in the top of the third, but a double play turned by Hannah Aguilar and Sarah Giles sent the Evangels back to the dugout and kept the contest tied 0-0.
- After seeing the first nine batters retired, Jessup recorded their first hit in the bottom of the fourth inning, a Maddy Ybarra single. Giles would bring Ybarra and herself home with an absolute moonshot to dead center, putting Jessup ahead 2-0.
- Kylie Nunes added another run with a solo shot of her own in the bottom of the fifth, pushing Jessup ahead 3-0.
- Mid-America Christian scored their first two runs of the game in the top of the seventh, as Heidi Noisey recorded a two-run shot to cut the Jessup lead down to 3-2. Jessup would force a pop fly to Giles and a groundout to win the championship 3-2.
